Program Site Partners

Reaching specific communities through a Novo Ministries’ program

Novo Ministries helps many churches and organizations connect with an inner city community by establishing a formal Novo Ministries’ program site. These are Program Site Partner relationships. These Program Site Partners collaborate with Novo Ministries to run weekly Bible Clubs in the communities in which they are involved. Novo Ministries provides all the necessary training, screening, supplies, curriculum, and leadership necessary to make the Bible Clubs possible, all at no cost to the Program Site Partner. The Program Site Partner provides volunteers and agrees to abide by our policies and procedures. Below, you can read about our Program Site Partners.

Choctaw Road Baptist Church

There’s something about the open road. The road calls to our very nature. People want to “get on the road”. Poems talk about “the roads of life”. Songs are written about being “on the road again”. Even the Bible talks about two roads, one narrow and one broad. The road represents the direction our lives are headed, our destination.

We are all on a journey. Everyday we make choices about our careers, morals, family and futures that take us toward a destination. At Choctaw Road Baptist Church we believe the Bible offers us the only real truth about our future destination and the road we should choose. We believe where you have been is not nearly as important as where you are going. We are grateful that God in His grace allows U-turns.

Eagle Heights Church

Eagle Heights Church is all about connecting – helping people connect with God in corporate worship, helping people connect with church family in small groups, and helping people connect with people by service and mission opportunities locally, nationally, and globally. Eagle Heights Church has a longstanding relationship with the Mark Twain students. One of the Eagle Heights Small Groups has adopted the Mark Twain Elementary neighborhood. Through their partnership with Novo Ministries, the couples and families of this Small Group provide a monthly lunch and Bible Club to the boys and girls in the Mark Twain community. This monthly outreach complements the church’s Whiz Kids partnership which also reaches students from Mark Twain Elementary.

Gateway Community Church

Gateway Community Church began as a multi-site campus in conjunction with Northwest Baptist Church. Gateway is a Church that is focused on communicating the timeless truth of God’s word in a culturally relevant way. We continue to keep our purpose clear: To exist as a community where God is changing us and through us making and eternal impact in our world. It is a ministry grounded in the Word of God, communicated through relevant Bible teaching and a real worship experience. Messages challenge and help people to change, becoming all that God intends them to be. The vision and ministry of Gateway will extend past the borders of our campus. We strive to fulfill our vision by extensive mission support throughout Oklahoma City, across the country, and around the world.

The Tapestry Project

The Tapestry Project is an organization that is revitalizing a deteriorating neighborhood through renovation, restoration, and connecting people in need to the resources that will equip them to thrive as a community. The vision is to create model for urban development and community transformation for women, children and families in crisis all across Oklahoma City.

Currently, the urban development project is taking place in a neighborhood located at SW 29th St. and Portland. Renovation efforts are underway and the neighborhood is hopeful for the first time in several years. We have been placing several moms and their children in our apartments. The women are involved in a monthly community meeting, which involves accountability, mentoring, parenting, encouragement, and providing of resources. We are currently involved in a bi-monthly outreach within the neighborhood that provides lunch to the community, games and activities for families, and resources for those in need.

Western Hills Church

The mission of Western Hills Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We seek to accomplish this by developing personal friendships with those who are lost, teaching them the truth about Jesus, and inviting them to trust Jesus as their Lord and savior. We seek to help believers grow in their understanding of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus and how to live a life that honors Him. We also seek to strengthen families by training men how to be the spiritual leader of their homes. We seek to assist fathers in the training of their children by providing a clear vision for missions in our local community and providing various opportunities for young people to participate in sharing the gospel with the lost in our city.
