You wouldn’t make the big presentation without adequate preparation. You wouldn’t go into the championship game without practicing, so why approach your children’s or outreach ministry without training? Novo Ministries’ training sessions are designed to equip and empower you to be maximally effective in a variety of ministry outlets. Check out our calendar below for upcoming training dates!

Basic Training
Novo Ministries offers training to individuals and churches that want to take their children’s ministry to the next level. Consider attending one of Novo Ministries’ Basic Training sessions. You’ll experience interactive, fast-paced, relevant teaching and coaching in how to be a more effective teacher of God’s precious word. The material has been developed by individuals who have experience teaching in both church and school settings – many of them right here in Oklahoma City, both the inner city and the suburbs. Training sessions are offered consistently throughout the year.

Reaching Our Inner City
If you or your church are ready to be proactive in reaching out to the families in an inner-city community, Novo Ministries’ Reaching Our Inner City training is for you. The Reaching Our Inner City training has the most up-to-date information on what is happening in the inner-city right now and is continually being updated to reflect the current trends and statistics that make up the reality of living in the inner-city. It is helpful for experts and novices alike and focuses on some of the key facets of inner-city life — from gangs, to dropout statistics. It offers practical tips and helps on how to relate to children and families living in this environment. The trainers have spent thousands of hours working in these communities, researching, and developing a training that is relevant and will help you unmask the inner city.
